Zabuni Experiences really started with something simple — helping friends plan trips to Kenya.

I’m Laban Njuguna M. I was born and grew up in Kenya, and over the years, I have been blessed to build a life in the United States.
Because of that, I’ve always found myself bridging two worlds: the country of my birth, Kenya, and my home now, Nebraska.

Friends in the U.S. would ask me, “If I visit Africa, where should I go? Who can I trust? How do I make sure it’s done right?”

So I started planning their trips the same way I would for my own family — carefully, honestly, and with a lot of thought behind every detail.

What I realized pretty quickly is that most people aren’t just looking for a vacation. They want to feel comfortable. They want to know they’re safe. And they want the experience to mean something.

At the same time, I know Kenya intimately — not just the big names, but the quiet places, the seasons, the people, and the small details that make a trip feel real special.

It’s simply about bridging that gap — matching the expectations someone from the U.S. has with the reality of what Kenya & East Africa can offer at its very best.

I don’t want to just plan trips. I put together experiences the way I would for people I care about — seamless, well-thought-out; a gift you’ll carry with you long after you get back home.
